On behalf of the amazing Oaklawn staff, I want to extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the Oaklawn Elementary school community!
Oaklawnās staff are dedicated to making our school a welcoming, fun, and engaging place of learning for every child. Our mission is centered on ensuring that every student has positive and meaningful connections with caring adults throughout the school day.
We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for success, and our staff is committed to promoting positive and open communication with you.

I'm super excited to begin my 6th year in the SDMA. Our partnership is important for student success. I live in Menomonie with my husband Brad, and our two dogs. I'm a new empty nester with all three of my children in college this year.
A bit about me. . .
š Grew up on a dairy farm in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. I always loved playing school and wanted to be a teacher.
š Earned my degree in Elementary Education from Marquette University and my Master's Degree from Viterbo University.
š Former elementary and middle school teacher and principal at St. Joseph School and Downsville.
š§ I've been in education for 30 years and still learn something new every day and absolutely LOVE being in school.
